About Recover Spine & Sport

We’re Not Just Another Clinic, We’re a New Way Forward

Most people come to us when they’ve tried everything else. They’ve seen specialists. Tried prescriptions. Been told surgery is inevitable.

But at Recover Spine & Sport, we believe your body is built to heal and we’ve made it our mission to help you unlock that potential, without unnecessary surgery or long-term dependency on treatment.

Founded by Dr. Ryan Averett, Recover was built on the belief that pain isn’t just something to manage,it’s something that can be solved.

“Dr. Averett and his staff are amazing! His customized treatment plan combined so many options to help my body heal, so I didn’t end up having to get surgery. He offers so many functional treatment options.”

From “Rekover” to Recover: Why We Evolved

Dr. Averett began his career as a chiropractor. Early on, he saw a pattern, patients kept coming back, not because they loved the care, but because their problems kept returning.

Determined to provide more than short-term relief, he began expanding into sports medicine, regenerative therapies, functional rehab, and advanced diagnostics. What started as Rekover, quickly outgrew the name and became Recover Spine & Sport.

Now, with a multidisciplinary team, proprietary systems like The Grid™, and Utah’s most comprehensive regenerative therapy program, Recover is known for helping people get better and stay better.
